Crowded bike car

Okay, here’s what the bike car interior really looks like these days. The bike racks are fully occupied and there are people standing with their bikes in every little bit of open space available. This is between the California Avenue and University Avenue stops in Palo Alto, California.
This is an "old style" Nippon Sharyo "gallery" cab car modified to carry bikes. Caltrain owns 27 of these modified gallery cab cars.
The red bike in the right foreground is mine, next to the blue Diamondback to which it’s somewhat related. The red bike is a Centurion I purchased new in 1987. Centurion (actually Western States Imports, a distributor) started a mountain bike line about that time that they called Diamondback. The Centurion brand was dropped in about 1990 or so and just became Diamondback.
Some time later the Diamondback brand was sold off to Raleigh.
