Skrawberry,

How do I let go emotionally of a man? He’s the only man I ever loved. BAD. Perfect for me.

I lost him cuz of my medalin, stalkin’ ex — he couldn’t let go, and my new man cuddent take no more of the drama. I don’t blame him — I wooda been out, too. We both are humble. So he pushed me away — HARD — and put some hope in the air like"not now."

But I want him now. He could say no wrong about me. My pillow be filled with tears at times, and I think about him every morning, first thing on my mind. I been tryin’ to do my thing, but it makes it worse because these other men can’t eat pussy, can’t f*ck, can’t make love. They ain’t real — they just LAME, and it makes me miss him more.

I’m determined to do me. I can really enjoy my freedom, but I wanna feel happy again too. Plus I think about looking him up in the future. Only time will tell — but wood you?

Skrawberry’s Guide to Baby Daddy Drama

Dear Skrawberry,

I think I have "The Baby Daddy Blues!" It seems as if I’m a magnet for men with children and I don’t really like it. I’ve been told that the rule for dating men with children is, if a man’s children are 5 years or older, they’re safe to date, and any numbers under that, they’re still dating their baby’s mom. The reason I’m really apprehensive about it is because I dated this guy a few years back that had two children which he claimed were 3 and 1 years old, and he swore he and his baby mother were done. Come to find out, this guy actually had two kids from one baby mom and a whole other baby mom that had been pregnant while he was dating me! I don’t know how he managed. I should’ve known something when he couldn’t keep his junk hard. That was straight drama!

So, I need your help and insight. What’s Skraw’s rules on dating men with a child or children? Because these days it’s one of the three: no car, extensive criminal record, or kids!

Signed,

Baby Blues

Hey Skraw,

I’m in a relationship right now with a dude who has to be the sweetest and most gentle guy in the world. He treats me damn good and the sex is off the chain. But the problem is financial — he ain’t keeping me happy. He has a good 9-5 job, and he is taking care of his mom and son. But damn, I got needs too. I’m used to getting my hair and nails done every two weeks. I’m used to getting new cars every six months and going on trips, getting stacks just to go shopping. All that I got from my past, but that dude cheated on me, beat me, even had another baby on me. I prayed to God asking him to send me a good man, and two years later he did. I mean, I love my man, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes I catch myself thinking back. I really don’t wanna ruin my relationship. Have you ever been in a situation like this? How can I let go of the past?

Hi Skrawberry,

I’m in a situation and hoping you can help. I’ve always been good friends with lots of guys but this is the first time I’ve ever had a "friends with benefits" situation. I don’t wanna fuck it up, because he’s a good man, but neither him or me wants to settle down right now.

So how do I keep it cool so it’s not awkward and so I don’t ruin our friendship?

Dear Skrawberry,

Let me start off by saying I love reading your blog. You keep it real, and you keep me entertained. But anyway, down to my dilemma. I have been with my boyfriend for over six years, and I am suddenly starting to lose interest in having sex with him. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to go out and have sex with anyone else, but it’s just boring. When we do have sex, it seems as if he is more concerned with satisfying himself. I have expressed this to him a few times, and he’ll try to do something different maybe once, but then it’s back to BORING.

Now, I feel like part of the problem has to do with porn. There’s no romance, he just wants to "get off." He watches a lot of porn, and I feel like it’s taking his sex life away from what is real. I like having passionate, steamy, hot sex with my man and I like trying different things. But when he’s looking at porn all day, at home and at work, I feel like he’s not giving me his all, and our sex life is becoming stale, like a bag of potato chips. For me it has gotten to the point where I just don’t want to have sex with him at all, seriously.

Sincerely,

Losing Interest

Skrawberry’s Guide to Letting Your Husband Love Strip Clubs

Hey Skraw,

I’ve been married to my husband for a couple years now. I’m a relatively attractive woman — I’m not a knockout, but I’m in shape and not a troll or anything — and I think we have a good sex life. Things are generally good between us; we have our ups and downs but that’s marriage.

I found out lately that my husband has been going to strip clubs when I’m not around. Now, I am fine with the club for other people, and I totally respect strippers, so I hope you don’t take me the wrong way. But it really bothers me that my husband is spending his free time and money in these places! First of all, I’m wondering why he’s keeping it a secret from me, like he’s doing something dirtier than just throwing some dollar bills around. And second, it makes me wonder what he’s looking for from strippers that he’s not getting from me. He has a woman who loves and lusts after him 24-7 for free, so why does he have to go out and pay for it on the side?

We’ve fought about it, and I’ve tried to ignore it, but I can’t stop thinking about it. What should I do?

Skrawberry’s Guide to Moving In With Your Man

Dear Skrawberry,

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost a year and two months. We’ve been talking about moving in together. He’s only a little over two years older than me, yet so many people are making it out to be a big deal.

It’s not like he abuses me or treats me badly — if anything, it’s the exact opposite of that. He always wants to do things for me. He treats me like a princess and I love it. But we know that moving in together really is a big thing. I feel like I’m ready to do it, but I want to make sure he is. I wanna know if he’s truly comfortable with moving in with me, but I dont wanna sound pushy like, "Hey, are you sure? Are you sure? Are you absolutely positive?" So how can I be sure?

Dear Skrawberry,

I’ve been with my girl about a year and she introduced me to her parents when they came to visit a couple months ago. I guess it was good because they liked me … but her mother liked me a little too much! She was creeping around the whole time, trying to get me alone, acting like she was going to seduce me! And then of course acting like nothing happened when my girlfriend was around! I could breathe a lot easier after they went back home!

But now my girlfriend wants me to go with her to visit for Thanksgiving, because I never said anything to her about any of it. I know if I go there I’m gonna end up in an uncomfortable situation. Or maybe even worse! So what do I do? I’m nervous to tell my girl about her mother, because what if she doesn’t believe me? But I don’t know how else to get out of this trip.

Hey Skrawberry!

I was wondering your take on boyfriends who cheat. I’ve known my boyfriend for over 10 years and we have been together for four. Found out last year he cheated on me. Went through a horrible breakup and apologies and him promising he wasn’t thinking straight and it won’t ever happen again.

But I wanted to know your opinion on cheaters. Can they really change, or is it really true that once a cheater always a cheater?

Thanks,

Hoping Change Is Possible

From: Doctor Ebbett’s Vinyl Transfer… Enjoy!

Twenty years after the Beatles released their first single in the UK (Love Me Do), Capitol and Parlophone commemorated the event with the compilation called 20 Greatest Hits. Three different track lists were produced: for the UK and U.S. markets, and a third for "Europe." The reasoning was that the selection of the twenty greatest Beatles hits varied from market to market, as not all singles were released in all countries. This would be the last LP in the discography of the Beatles to have different versions for the U.S. and the UK. The release dates were October 11, 1982 in the US and October 18, 1982 in Britain.

This compilation sold reasonably well, but did not pass number 50 in the U.S. or number 10 in the UK. Beatles historians took this as an indication that this British rock-band phenomenon of the 1960′s had finally been supplanted by newer trend setters in popular music. They had joined the nostalgic, "Oldies" category for good.

The U.S. and European versions of the LP include a trimmed-down version of Hey, Jude (to 5:05). The version in the UK and the releases on cassette in all markets kept the original, 7:11 track. The U.S. version also was distributed in Canada, in spite of the fact that Can’t Buy Me Love only went to number 3 there, and two number one hits, All My Loving and This Boy, are not on the record.
Ten of the twenty greatest hits appear on all three versions of the record. In comparison with the UK track listing, the U.S./Canada version has 14 songs in common. Six from the UK release were omitted: The Ballad of John and Yoko, Day Tripper, Don’t Let Me Down, Eleanor Rigby, From Me to You, and Yellow Submarine. In their place appears: Hello–Goodbye, I Feel Fine, Ticket to Ride, Penny Lane, Come Together and Get Back. The European track list has 15 tracks in common with the UK version, and omits the following six: Don’t Let Me Down, Eight Days a Week, Let It Be, The Long and Winding Road and Yesterday. In their place the European LP inserted: Get Back, Hello–Goodbye, I Feel Fine, Lady Madonna, and Ticket to Ride.
