1.Decisions are hard to make. When hand writing notes like this 10 things list, I scribble out a lot and rewrite and also get creative at transforming letters and squeezing in words. In expository writing class I got the class cartography award (map making award) for my maddeningly complex rough drafts with lots of arrows, inserts, changes, it looked like a maze.
2.I have this bad habit of long imaginary preparatory conversations (for future conversations) inside my head, where of course I’m getting more right all the time.
3.Things breaking down are severely disturbing. So being involved in only with what is needed and not going too fast comes in handy. Needing to do laundry and such regular clean ups is bad enough. For example, my body breaking down: when I was 20 yrs old or so I got asthma, still do, and detested the need to take pills to breathe, fought suffocation face to face by trying to not take the pills for a long time, til I gave in, but I thought it was completely horrible.
4.In younger days during a party, after opening my mouth & saying something odd, one friend replied with a general question, Mike how do you survive? This was a good question. I’d answer that God steps in often. One time back in those days, pushin' 30 yrs old by that point, not today, I was stinking drunk, but I don't drink anymore, anyway, was wasted, half asleep, 2AM, left the bar, hopped in the car, girl at my side, driving home. I mean driving home in that condition usually involved me staring at the white line on the right shoulder of the road all the way home so if I veer it is usually toward the shoulder and not oncoming traffic. We were about to cross Woodward Ave in metro Detroit which has about a 45-50 mph speed limit maybe, faster for most peeps, and we crossing the highway had the green light, when someone on Woodward ran their red in front of us at high speed. But still I stopped in time and was shocked awake and had no human explanation for how I was able to do that with my brain glazed over.
5.Moving later in time, in my later 30s. One day after getting sober for about a year, I'm single, I stuff my car, give away the rest, and drive 10 hours to Nashville, to survive or die, whichever happened would become my plan. Didn't tell anyone. I lived. Three months later after I found a job I contacted family. I wouldn't do that today but at the time it seemed appropriate. Anyway I stayed put ever since, same place, same job.
6.The millimeter size of the point of my ink pen cartridge is very important.
7.Flickr contacts might be in the same boat on this next one; that photography is an essential part of my life at the moment. It's a good free pursuit; call it a hobby but the right hobby for a slightly subjective minded single person is an indispensible time filler. I don't have a wife and children soaking up my free hours. The day I got a digital point and shoot and then my brother told me about flickr was to be a bit of a reckoning. Previously my only hobby was drinking.
8.Sometimes I'm jealous of cats who never forget the importance of doing frequent stretching, but dogs are ace.
9.I often have dreams I recall. They might depict what was bothering (concerning) me or should have bothered me the previous day. I see them as nature (but that doesn’t exclude supernatural influences), and something to turn over and think about like anything else you bump into in life. They are peculiar though and have always gotten my attention. Not too long ago I had a dream and saw a guy with about fifty lenses sitting next to him, each one on end, like a Sigma advertisement. Guess I'm a bit greedy and deadly selfish…but a nice lens is a sweet thing.
10.Weak as my faith in Our Lord is, it's all I got when the lens is dropped on the parking lot during my next lens swap out.
this makes twice, and last, til the next game in six months
16 Things

1. Apparently I think dirty mirrors are awesome. lol Not really though, I’m actually the kind of person that will come over to visit and end up doing dishes, scrubbing the counters and sweeping. It’s not cuz I think you’re a filthy pig, it’s because I everything has its place and dammit, garbage does not go in the sink! LOL
2. I like pens. Fancy pens, cheap pens, Viagra, Claritin, Cymbalta, Orencia pens, it just doesn’t matter as long as it writes nice and it’s too bulky, I’ll take it! Well….that’s not entirely true…you have to have a certain kind of pen for your checkbook or else shit just goes WRONG! lol
3. I went to college to get a certificate in Office Technology, which is supposed to be a 1 year program. I fucked around enough the first year that I had to go back the second year and I still managed to not get the damn thing. I really didn’t care. I didn’t want to go to college to begin with, it was just something to do, plus accounting kinda sucked ass!!!
4. As a kid I used to pretend I was a cat named Natney, I’d crawl around, meow, rub up against peoples legs and demand attention. I might still do that but not under the alias of Natney.
5. I’m crafty. I like to just start a project not knowing what I’m making and have it end up being something completely awesome or completely crappy. I’m great at fixing things, doesn’t matter what it is, if I tinker with it long enough chances are that I’ll fix it. When I was in high school, I took the door panel off of my car and rigged my door handle so that I was able to open it from the outside. I also fixed the light switch since my high beams wouldn’t work.
6. I like coffee and tea but not for the caffeine, because I like the taste of it. I’m sure that it helps that I enjoy doctoring it up with hazelnut creamer (for coffee) and honey (for tea). NOM!
7. I’m 5’10" (shuddup Heather! I think I shrunk. lol)
8. I never had a nickname until I became famous online.
ROFLMAO! What? You don’t believe me? hahaha Kidding. But seriously, I never had a nickname until I created a MySpace profile and started blogging. It was kind of odd meeting people off of MySpace and Flickr and having them see me and say "Tizzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I love it though, I won’t lie.
9. Polka dots are my friendz.
10. I’m not a girly girl as far as fashion is concerned (in case you hadn’t noticed), I might have a couple skirts in my closet but they can go straight to the Salvation Army cuz I won’t be caught dead in one. It’s the same story with dresses. ACK!
11. I create nicknames for pets, my kids and close friends. I can’t help it, it’s cute!
12. When I was in high school I applied for a job at McDonalds. It was supposed to be a summer job, yet I worked there for over 4 years.
13. Right this very second Angels & Airwaves is my favorite band.
14. Some of my very best friends live on the East coast and it kills me that I might not ever meet them in person.
15. I get along with everyone as long as you aren’t a complete dick.
16. I like to write, I just wish I was better at it.
I know I’m supposed to tag people now but I don’t know who’s done it and who hasn’t and I’m pretty much too farkin lazy to scroll through my contacts and pick, so if you haven’t done 16 Things and you want to, you totally should.
Later yo!

i was so tired on this day… having not gotten much sleep the last few days, i got a call from megz that they had the transformer autobot cars at the arclight all the way in LA. after barely making it through work and then a long appointment at school, i decided… sure why not? its a long way to drive but hey, i had the next day off anyways and i knew that i’d have fun.
so i made my way to the arclight and while i was waiting, i had a brief celebrity sighting, i saw michael cera and charlyne yi (weird asian girl from knocked up) and i asked them for a pic but i think when they spotted my dslr they probably thought i was paparazzi and due to the fact that i think they were late for their movie, they didn’t oblige… which was cool. i suppose i could have acted like a paparazzi and taken their pic without asking… but i decided to at least be nice about it… and even though they didn’t let me take a pic… its all good. i guess that’s the way it goes sometimes…
seeing the transformer cars were pretty cool although it would have been better if they were in their robot forms. all i can ask is… where are the decepticons? haha…
me and megz weren’t tired yet so we headed down to the other 7-eleven that was converted to a kwik-e-mart and coincidentally it was just down the street from megz’s old apartment. while waiting to get in, i saw a girl wearing a t-shirt to my friend rafa’s play called "n*gger, w*tb*ck, ch*nk". talked to her and found out she also went to west covina high and was a friend of rafa’s. reminded me that rafa and his play were in town and that i definitely had to go!
