We happened to pop into a small gift shop in Leavenworth, WA – tucked in the back corner was one of the most extensive, creative, amazing displays of fairy sculptures and other art work – wow! It was like a cross between the Texas Ren Festival and the Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) series).
Heather and I fell in love with a bunch of the pieces – but how to get them home? I’m always jealous of creative people (since I don’t have one iota of it in my body) – and this might have been the highlight of our trip to Leavenworth!! We took these photos in August 2013.
Porsche: MOEHAKU 2010

On Sunday March 21, I went to MOE HAKU 2010 held in Makuhari-Messe, Chiba Prefecture (JAPAN). Japanese "Itasha" is literally "pain-mobile" which refers a car decorated with characters (mostly female) from anime, manga, or video games. Usually painted, remodeled or put stickers on it. It's also called "MOE sha" and the word MOE is Japanese slang which is used to refer to strong interest in idealized characters or people especially girls.
