Park Hyatt Tokyo, Lobby

The first floor lobby of the Park Hyatt Tokyo, made famous in the movie "Lost in Translation", is a five star hotel consistently rated as one of the best, if not the best, hotel in the World. And at 2AM not a soul was around. Good time for a picture!

On a personal note, this is, without a doubt, my favorite hotel in the entire World. The service is exceptional, everybody knows your name from the moment you arrive, the food is terrific, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the views are spectacular. I have spent over 100 nights at this property, and I have not gotten tired of it yet! There are newer and more "trendier" hotels in Tokyo such as the Mandarin Oriental or Ritz Carlton, but being trendy is about the only thing they offer, as the service is impersonal and cold in comparison. Those hotels seem to attract the younger wealthy type from Japan, who show up in their Lamborghini LP640′s with a girl on each arm (don’t ask me how that was possible in a two seater car), where as the Park Hyatt Tokyo seems to attract the more "refined" celebrities from Japan and around the World… in their Ferrari’s
