These girls were really proud of their Mustang, even though there were not many Mustangs or women car owners at the event. I like outliers, things that don’t match up or quite fit in with everything else in a particular group or setting. The crowd at the NSRA Golden State Street Rod Nationals looked very much like FOX News demographics: overwhelmingly white, male and over 65 years old. It was nice enough crowd, but I felt really out of place. Was going to visit the Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, but I felt I had enough car pictures for the weekend and not sure I would have fit in with the dressage crowd either.
