"Boston Girls," an indie "dark-horror-comedy," according to The Boston Globe will be shooting for a few more weeks around Pawtucket, the latest in an ever-increasing series of films and television productions to take advantage of the state’s compactness, scenic diversit, tax credits and growing industry infrastructure. Just please don’t judge the state by Underdog; we gave the world, among other things, the dad from Six Feet Under and Brotherhood, which, despite its earnest-yet-inconsistent attempts at a local accent, is as good as anything on tv.

The crew’s been putting in some long, dedicated hours to bring this vision along, so cheers to everyone involved. The film was written by Camille Solari and directed by Gabriel Bologna. Father Joe Bologna and Renee Taylor from "The Nanny" will be acting alongside a cast including Shay Astar ("3rd Rock From the Sun"), Robert Miano ("Donnie Brasco"), and Danny Trejo, in the words of the Globe scrib, "the scary guy from ‘Grindhouse’" and "Desperado." The film is being produced by Jon Waterman.

I stumbled onto this interior car scene outside of The Modern Diner without a proper camera, so this is all I can give ya right now. I should be keeping you posted with better quality pix in the coming week or so.

Caffarel Vintage car

This is a vintage car that the company Caffarel uses to present its chocolates during public demonstrations. The company, Piedmontese, is known for the production of chocolates.
In Piedmont we make chocolates and we are reknown for that.
A particular type of chocolate, the giandujotto is our typical product.
The giandujotto is said to be thought up by late Mr. Caffarel and takes its name from the male character that represents Turin and Piedmont in the Italian theater Commedia dell’Arte and carnival: Gianduja (see wiki in italian: much better… ). Gianduja means Carafe John (he likes wine), he is engaged with beautiful Giacometta but, despite faithful, he looks all the other girls. He is a wise well-off paeasant and he is always happy.
