Ok, 500mm mirror lens with 2X teleconverter. Too much for a heavy! This is probably Agfa or some crazy 1200 or 1600 ASA film, so there’s vignetting, over- saturated colors and a host of lesser sins. Nice picture, in some ways, a bit too much, in some ways, too.
Its a personal thing, I don’t like the frosty pearl paints on Virgin Atlantic or the Northwest "Service Straight Out of Compton" scheme. I can’t think of anything that pearl effect paint improves – it looks cheap (to me) on multi-million dollar airplanes, nice guitars, nice cars, etc. Between the pale golden pearl and the lush red, the overall effect is a lot closer to Victoria’s Secret than anything else. I like lingerie models as much as the next middle aged guy (we’re all pigs, as Porco Rosso points out) Apparently I’m more of a prude than I would have suspected…
