Day 223/365 – It’s not even that good of a picture

As I was heading over to Ballard Market, I saw someone on the swing set across the street. Grabbing my bag, I crossed over to take a picture of her girl, silhouetted against the sky at sunset – one snap later, I got the "Hey! What the hell are you taking pictures of!" from an angry woman across the street.

After working 10 hours in an office with no AC, my head wasn’t in the game and I was probably more curt with here than I should have been. Not rude, not swearing up a storm like she seemed to think, but I jumped right to the constitutional "if I can see it, I have the right to shoot it" as I was crossing the street to go to the market (To be fair, I was also walking towards the lady, but she was also in the parking lot of my ultimate destination)

While I’m talking to her, this guy – boyfriend, husband, boy-toy, I have no idea which – comes flying out of the car, forcefully shoves me (knocks my glasses off my face) and tries to grab my rig. I manage to get my camera away and they get all "You’re creepy! You’re a pedophile!" and "That’s bullshit" when I try and say anything in my defense.

They call the cops, which thrills me to no end – since I was indeed just a victim of battery (not assault – assault is a crime causing a victim to fear violence. The term is often confused with battery, which is the actual "touching"), but decided I’d better call too – since who know what the hell she was telling them.

So when the cops show up – three cars worth – she goes first, painting me as a monster (and a magician, since apparently I was hiding behind a sapling and shooting the girl. Outside of Bugs Bunny and Warner Brothers cartoons, this would be quite the trick!) . When the cop got to me, I didn’t deny it – I told them I was a street photographer, I did indeed shoot the person on the swing, showed them my MOO cards with some of my other shots, and explained the "without a reasonable expectation of privacy, photography of anyone is permitted" stance.

So while I didn’t get busted, they didn’t ask to see my ID, they didn’t question me beyond what was my address, they didn’t even ask to see my photos (which I couldn’t have shown them anyway, being that I was mid-roll of film) – but they were clearly more sympathetic to the others and very apparently restrained by the whole "I have my rights" thing, preventing them from further action. But they let off the guy who battered me (that doesn’t sound nearly as good as "assaulted me") too. So now it’s a matter of me figuring out if I want to push on busting the guy any further. At the very least I’m getting the police report of the incident and will figure out where to go from that.

When I made a move to shoot the gathering after being dismissed, he told me not to push my luck. Since I didn’t want to be arrested for Contempt of Cop, I followed the order to clear the area. I did shoot them from across the parking lot when I was talking to the employee that had come out to see what all the fuss was about – but I was shooting from the chest (and not the viewfinder), it was into the sun and probably didn’t turn out well at all. We’ll see when the roll comes back.

Well i made this foto for GtA just to remember that game that once was a part of our lives , we were addicted to it although now we dont play it much , but back in the 2000 it was the BUZZ

Well i used my gun , armed it with no bullets in order to stuck back used a couple of 100 bucks , and my fathers Mercedes key the scene is perfect for GTA , money , guns and car theft hahahah i miss this game D specially Vice City and GTA 3 those were the most i had life with D
